Productized services – fixed price, fixed scope, clear deliverable
Every engagement here is a product, not a timesheet: you see the scope, the deliverable, and the fixed price before work starts. Six services, one logic – an audit or assessment first, implementation guidance second, ongoing advisory only when it earns its place. Async, documented, independent of any vendor or agency.
- Mid-market e-commerce
- Independent advisor
- Audit-first approach
- Analysis + actionable roadmap
- Async, documented
- Fixed-price proposals
How engagements work – three rungs, you enter where you need
Every service sits on the same three-rung ladder; the price model is the same across all of them:
-
1 – Audit / Assessment – a fixed-price diagnosis with findings and a 90-day roadmap, yours to keep. Published ranges from €300 (Performance Quick Check) to €1,800 (AI Readiness Assessment), by scope.
-
2 – Implementation – if you want the roadmap built, "from €2,000", with the exact fixed price scoped from your audit, never a blind quote. Optional; your own team or agency can execute the same roadmap instead.
-
3 – Ongoing advisor – a fixed monthly scope cap for review and oversight, agreed in writing after a first engagement. Not a starting offer.
| Rung | What it is | Price |
|---|---|---|
| 1 – Audit / Assessment | Fixed-price diagnosis: findings + 90-day roadmap, yours to keep | €300 – 1,800 by scope |
| 2 – Implementation | Optional build of the roadmap; your own team or agency can do it instead | from €2,000, scoped from your audit |
| 3 – Ongoing advisor | Fixed monthly scope cap for review and oversight; not a starting offer | Agreed after a first engagement |
The audit is how the build gets priced: the roadmap it produces is the scope. That is why the audit is the product, not a free funnel into a predetermined build – the recommendation does not change based on whether you hire me to execute it.
Start here – the three core services
Most engagements start with one of these three. Each has its own page with full scope, methodology, and FAQ.

AI Readiness Assessment
Best for: teams evaluating AI investments before committing budget
Deliverable: Analysis + recommended use cases + what to avoid
Vendors will tell you their tool fits. I tell you where AI delivers ROI for your store – and where it doesn't.

Performance & Architecture Audit
Best for: stores with slow performance or unclear technical priorities
Deliverable: Analysis + prioritised recommendations
Not a 200-page tool dump – a ranked list of what to fix first and what it's costing you while it's broken.

Magento / Adobe Commerce Advisory
Best for: one-time projects – platform upgrade, migration planning
Deliverable: Technical review + decision recommendations
An independent review before you commit budget to an upgrade, a migration, or an agency proposal.

AI Search & Discovery Consulting
AI Search & Discovery Consulting is a fixed-price, vendor-independent review of how product discovery performs on your store and what AI search would realistically change for your catalog – before you sign a search-vendor contract.
If visitors search your store and leave without buying, the problem is usually findable: a default search engine that doesn't understand intent, catalog data that doesn't support discovery, or a vendor mismatch. This service tells you which one it is – before you sign a search-vendor contract.
Who it's for
Stores where product discovery underperforms and the root cause is unclear. Teams being pitched AI search tools (Algolia, Klevu, Searchspring, or another engine) who want an independent read on what their catalog and stack actually need.
What you get
- Hands-on review of your current search: how it handles synonyms, typos, intent, filters, and edge queries against your real catalog – run through my own tooling, not just read off the config.
- Catalog data readiness: whether your product data, attributes, and structure can actually support good discovery (and AI search).
- Vendor shortlist matched to your catalog, stack, and budget – what each option will and won't solve.
- Implementation guidance: a recommended integration approach for your team or agency.
Have search analytics (GA4 / site-search reports)? We use them – they sharpen the read. No analytics? The assessment still stands on structural review and running queries through my own tooling – it doesn't depend on whether your analytics are wired up.
Timeline and price: Fixed price, quoted after a short written intake.
Pre-investment Technical Review
A Pre-investment Technical Review is an independent, fixed-price technical second opinion on a platform, codebase, or agency proposal before you commit budget – from someone with no stake in the build going ahead.
A major investment is on the table – a platform, a codebase acquisition, an agency proposal – and you need a technical second opinion from someone with no stake in the outcome. That is the entire service: I don't sell the build, so the review has nothing to protect.
Who it's for
Companies evaluating a platform, codebase, or vendor before committing budget. Typical triggers: a five-figure agency quote, a replatforming pitch, technical due diligence before acquisition or funding.
What you get
- Independent technical assessment of the platform, codebase, or proposal under evaluation
- Risk inventory – what can fail, what it would cost, what the seller isn't mentioning
- Go/no-go criteria you can hold the vendor or agency to, in writing
Timeline and price: Fixed price, quoted after a short written intake.
Ongoing Technical Advisor
Some teams need regular expert input but can't justify – and don't need – a full-time hire. This is not a starting offer: it's how an engagement continues after an audit or assessment has produced a roadmap, with supervision while your team or agency implements it – catching expensive mistakes before they ship.
Who it's for
Teams that have completed an audit or assessment and want regular expert input without a full-time hire.
Deliverable: Monthly advisory + technical reviews + roadmap updates. Always async and in writing, with a fixed scope cap – hours are never the billing unit. Scope and price are agreed in writing after the initial engagement.

Frequently asked questions
- How is pricing structured?
- Every service is fixed-price with a fixed deliverable. You see the price and the scope in writing before work starts – no hourly billing, no open-ended invoices. Retainers have an explicit monthly scope cap, so you always know what's included.
- Which service should I start with?
- An audit or assessment. It's the lowest-risk entry point: fixed price, clear deliverable, and you keep the full report and roadmap whether or not we work together afterwards. If you're unsure which one fits, a short message describing your store is enough for me to point you to the right starting point.
- Do you run discovery calls?
- Most engagements run without a single meeting. Instead of a discovery call you get a written intake questionnaire; instead of a presentation you get a PDF report. Calls are available when genuinely useful – they're optional, not the default.
- What happens after an audit?
- Three common paths: your team implements the roadmap internally, I supervise implementation as an ongoing advisor, or the roadmap goes to your agency with clear acceptance criteria. The deliverable is written so all three work.
- What do you need from me to send a fixed-price proposal?
- A short written description of your store: the platform and version, what feels blocked, and what decision you're trying to make. From that I send a written scope and a fixed price. No discovery call required – and there's no commitment until you accept the scope in writing.
Tell me about your store, your bottlenecks, and what decision you need clarity on.
Get a grounded technical perspective before you invest in the wrong fix.
Useful to include: store URL, current platform, team setup, and what feels blocked.
